In the past decade, many people have made drastic lifestyle changes and have turned towards vegetarianism or veganism. * Burmese Tofu

To make this recipe, all you have to do is mash sweet potatoes, chickpeas, and some shredded coconut together. Now add some scallions in spices to the mixture and mix it all well. * Vegetarian Lasagna

This is a very heavy and rich vegetarian lasagna recipe that relies on vegetables and cheese for its flavours. It is also a one pot recipe so you can easily make this at home even if you are just a beginner in the kitchen. Just take a large pan and add your pasta, cranberry sauce, tomato puree, mozzarella and ricotta. Now drizzle some olive oil, herbs and olives. Add some salted water at the end. Put this in the oven and let it cook for at least 15 minutes at 200°C. Take the pasta out of the oven and give everything a very good mix. You will be surprised to see how delicious this pasta recipe turns out to be.

* Tofu Steak

Using tofu steak you can make burgers, and sandwiches and also use them to make your rolls. Tofu is low in fat and high in protein. So it is also a very healthy option for your Thanksgiving party. Make sure that you first marinate your tofu in a lemon and garlicky mixture of yoghurt and other spices. Keep the marinated full aside for at least 3 to 4 hours before using it. Now grill your tofu steak before using it in a burger or sandwich. you can use a lot of lime juice, chilli powder, maple syrup, and other sausage to make your flavourful burger or sandwich.

* Coconut Squash 

The beauty of this recipe will shock you to the core. This is a delicate butternut squash recipe that is a combination of various Flavours of coconut milk, onions, coriander, Rosemary and harissa. The starch of the squash is taken out and beautifully melted with coconut milk. To give it a fiery kick, lots of chilli sauce is added to the mixture. Now you can add your finely chopped onions, Rosemary and Harrisa. Cook it on low flame for at least 15 to 20 minutes before adding fresh coriander leaves on top. you can have it with some mashed potatoes and boiled rice on the side.
