We love Indian cuisine for multiple reasons and desserts are definitely one of the first ones. Be it a celebration, festival or just our sweet tooth itching us to grab a bite, desserts are primary to each of it. And no, we don’t need brownies, cakes or ice creams when we have decadent halwas, drool-worthy ladoos and barfis, and luscious kheer to nosh over! Indian desserts truly are unique, diverse and irresistibly delicious. And while we can always buy sweets from the nearest sweet shop, making them at home is a joy unmatched. And well, you can make some of the most delicious Indian desserts at home. All you need is a microwave and a few minutes!
We’ve got three Indian sweet recipes that you can make in a microwave:
1. Microwave Besan Ladoo
Isn’t besan ladoo an all-time favourite? A staple at festivals, besan ladoos are something that doesn’t need a lot of time, energy and ingredients. All you need is to mix together ghee and besan and simply heat it in the microwave. Add sugar and cardamom powder to this mix and shape them into balls. Decadent ladoos are ready to be devoured!
2. Microwave Sooji Halwa
Another staple dessert an Indian meal is incomplete without! Mix in sooji with ghee and heat it, add milk and sugar to this, mix in and heat again. You can top it with some cardamom nuts and dry fruits and you’ll have one of the most delicious dessert ready in a matter of minutes.
3. Microwave Atta Halwa
Isn't this one of the easiest Indian desserts ever? The smooth, luscious texture of it has many fans around. The microwave version is a cherry on top since you simply have to mix atta, ghee, sugar and water, and heat it!
So which one of these are you trying at home?
