Fujian Famous wonton soup is a homemade wonton soup, a soup with dumplings and stir-fried vegetables. These wontons are filled with a juicy pork and shrimp or prawns filling that will definetly knock your socks off.
STEP 1.1 cut the cabbage into stripes. Add to a large bowl and add ginger, scallion and separate the white and green parts.
STEP 2.Add garlic and white part to the bowl.
STEP 3.2 add ground pork to the bowl along with ground white pepper , soy sauce , egg, oyster sauce, sherry wine , granulated sugar , and sesame oil.mix the ingredients together.
STEP 4.3 fill 1 tsp of stuffing in wonton
STEP 5.1 in a pot, add water,vegetable oil , chicken powder , salt , granulated sugar , ground white pepper, sherry wine, sesame oil and the chopped green onion.
STEP 6.2 once the water comes to a boil, add the wontons. Once the water starts boiling again, turn the heat to medium-low and cook for 4 minutes. Stir gently and occasionally.
STEP 7.3 after 4 minutes, turn off the heat and add in distilled white vinegar. Garnish with some scallions.
