Ingredients For Turkey Pastelón (Sweet Plantain Lasagna) Recipe

• 1.25 pound 93% Lean Ground Turkey
• 0.5 cup onion, finely chopped
• 3 cloves minced garlic
• 1 mato, chopped
• 0.5 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
• 2 tablespoon Cilantro
• 4 ounce 1/2 can tomato sauce
• kosher salt
• fresh ground pepper
• 1.5 teaspoon ground cumin
• 0.25 teaspoon Oregano
• 2 bay leaves
• 2 tablespoon alcaparrado, capers or green olives would work too
• cooking spray, I used my mister
• 4 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced into thin strips
• 1 large egg, beaten
• 3 large egg whites, beaten
• 2 tablespoon fat free milk
• 1.5 cup reduced fat shredded Mexican blend cheese
