Directions : Monterrey-Style Skirt Steak Recipe

STEP 1.1 place the steak on a rimmed baking sheet and rub a mixture of olive oil, salt and pepper on it.

STEP 2.2 cover it with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

STEP 3.3 preheat a charcoal grill on medium flame.

STEP 4.4 - wrap the onions in foil and grill it for 25 minutes.

STEP 5.5 remove onions from the grill, cut in quarters and separate the layers.

STEP 6.6 preheat the grill by adding charcoals on high flame and coat it with cooking spray.

STEP 7.7 place the steak on grill and cook it for 5 minutes on each side.

STEP 8.8 take the steak off the grill and let it cool and cut it into strips.

STEP 9.9 heat tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds.

STEP 10.10 fill them up with steak and onion mix
