STEP 1.Dry roast nuts on medium – high flame. Roast each set of nuts separately, as each will roast in different amount of time. About 1 minute each. Once roasted, roughly chop the nuts.
STEP 2.Roasted and ground cashews, pistachios, walnuts and almonds roughly chopped in a steel bowl.
STEP 3.Roughly chop dates
STEP 4.Chopped dates in a leaf vine designed white plate.
STEP 5.Add ghee to pan and heat on medium. Add dates to ghee. Roast and break apart the dates into a paste-like mixture. Keep stirring/smashing. About 7-9 minutes.
STEP 6.Dates roasted in ghee on a pan with roasted ground nuts added.
STEP 7.Add nuts and cardamom to dates in pan.
STEP 8.Nuts and cardamom added to a roasted date paste in a pot.
STEP 9.Mix to combine.
STEP 10.Mixed date nut roll ingredients in a non-stick pot.
STEP 11.Once cooled, divide mixture into 4 parts and form logs/cylindrical shape. Roll in dessiccated coconut.
STEP 12.Date nut rolls barfi rolled in dessicated coconut on a glass plate.
STEP 13.Cut 1/2 inch slices and serve.
STEP 14.khajur burfi on a plate with dessicated coconut sprinkled on the plate and on the burfi.
