Nothing says summer quite like a vibrant Mango Salsa. This recipe is a masterclass in flavor balancing, combining the tropical sweetness of ripe mango with the sharp bite of red onion and the creeping heat of jalapeños. It’s a versatile powerhouse in the kitchen—equally at home atop a piece of grilled salmon, inside a spicy shrimp taco, or simply scooped up with salty tortilla chips. Plus, it’s packed with antioxidants and Vitamin C, making it as healthy as it is delicious.
2 ripe mangoes, diced into small cubes 1/2 red onion, finely chopped 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Juice of 1 large lime A pinch of sea salt and black pepper
In a medium glass bowl, combine the diced mango, red onion, and jalapeño.
Add the fresh cilantro and pour the lime juice over the mixture.
Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then toss gently to ensure everything is evenly coated.
Let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the lime juice to macerate the onions and meld the flavors.
Give it one final stir and serve chilled as a topping or a dip.
