Fruity jams are a great way to add a sparkle to your bread or baked treats. To get the tropical sweetness in a jar, make pineapple jam this season. Here’s a step-by-step recipe to make the jam at home.
2 cups chopped pineapple ¾ cups sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Take a pineapple and finely chop or grate the fruit.
Heat the pieces in a pan and add sugar and lemon juice till the mixture boils.
Add vanilla extract and let it simmer for an hour till the jam thickens.
Once you get your desired consistency, store it in an air-tight container.
