World Chocolate Day: Easy Chocolate Mousse Recipe

A chocolate mousse is everyone’s favourite delight to relish, especially on World Chocolate Day. While the process might seem complex, it could not be easier if you follow it to the dot. Here is a recipe for beginners.

Ingredients

A pinch of salt 1 cup chopped dark chocolate 1 tsp instant coffee ¼ cup light cream 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp vanilla essence 2 tbsp raw sugar ½ cup light cream

Step 1

Blend the chocolate in the food processor and melt it over a double boiler.

Step 2

Halfway through, add butter, salt, coffee, and cream. The ganache will be glossy. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Beat cream, vanilla essence, and sugar using an electric mixer.

Step 5

Layer the mousse in glasses with fruits of your choice.

Step 6

Freeze for 4-5 hours before serving.
