Winter Special Masala Chai To Soothe Your Throat

You need something as delicious as masala chai to get up from your bed on a cold winter morning. With the goodness of ginger and winter spices, here’s how you can make masala chai within minutes.

Ingredients

1.5 cups water 1 inch cinnamon stick 3 green cardamoms 4 cloves 5 black peppercorns ½ inch fresh ginger, grated 1 teaspoon black tea ¾ cup milk Sugar to taste

Step 1

Dry roast cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and peppercorns till aromatic.

Step 2

Add water and grated ginger to the same pan. Let it boil.

Step 3

Add black tea and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Step 4

Pour in the milk and sugar and let it simmer for a few more minutes.

Step 5

Strain the tea into cups and enjoy!
