That leftover paneer block always feels too little for a full dish but too much to waste. These simple recipes will help you use it up in ways that still feel new and tasty.
Mash or grate the paneer and sauté it with onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and a bit of masala. Spread this mixture on toast and grill it. It’s quick, filling, and works for breakfast or a rushed dinner.
Mix crumbled paneer with spices, chopped coriander, and maybe some grated veggies. Use this as a filling for parathas and cook on a tawa with ghee.
Cube the paneer, marinate in curd, spices, and a bit of mustard oil, then skewer and grill or pan-fry. Serve with chutney.
Cut paneer into strips and toss it in a pan with some seasonal veggies, soy sauce, chilli, and garlic. Serve hot with rice or wrap it in a roti for a paneer-loaded roll.
