Also known as sesame laddu, is a traditional Indian sweet made with sesame seeds, jaggery, and ghee. These are rich in nutrients and have a nutty flavour. It’s easy to make and can be enjoyed as a snack or dessert.
1 cup of sesame seeds ½ cup of jaggery 2 tablespoons of ghee Cardamom powder, as required
In a pan, start to dry roast the sesame seeds. Keep the heat on low until they turn golden brown.
In another pan, melt the jaggery with ghee. Mix it well.
Now, add the roasted sesame seeds to the jaggery mixture. Mix well.
Let the mixture cool. Then shape it into small balls. Let it rest for a few minutes.
Store the til laddus in airtight containers. Enjoy the laddus as a dessert or snack.
