Chocochip cookie recipe creates cookies with soft centres, lightly crisp edges, and melted chocolate pockets, filling the kitchen with a warm aroma and making it almost impossible to wait until they cool.
½ cup softened butter ½ cup powdered sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour ¼ tsp baking powder ½ cup chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar together until pale, smooth, and slightly fluffy.
Add flour and baking powder, mixing gently until a soft dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips so they’re evenly spread through the dough.
Shape small portions, flatten slightly, and arrange on a lined tray.
Bake at 180°C until edges turn golden while centres remain soft.
