Waffles topped with chocolate syrup and fruit sound amazing. However, the maida-based waffles won’t add to the nutrition. If you hoped your sweet treats to be healthy, here’s how to make protein waffles.
1 cup rolled oats 2 eggs ½ cup yoghurt ¼ cup milk 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional) Pinch of salt Oil for greasing
Grind the rolled oats into a fine flour.
Mix with eggs, yoghurt, milk, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt, and maple syrup.
Blend till you get a smooth batter. Pour the batter into the waffle maker.
Cook for 3-5 minutes. Once crispy, transfer to a plate and serve with yoghurt and chopped fruits.
