There's nothing quite like a cool and refreshing dessert on a summer day with scorching heat. To have the perfect dessert, make a zesty-flavoured lemon tart topped with light and sweet whipped cream.
For Tart: Maida - 1.5 cups Powdered sugar - 0.5 cups Pinch of salt Butter - 0.5 cups Egg yolk - 1 Ice water - 2 teaspoons For the Lemon Filling: Eggs - 3 Lemon juice - 0.5 cups Powdered sugar - 1 cup Butter - 2 tablespoons Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon Whipped cream
Make the dough with flour, powdered sugar, salt, ice water, butter, and egg yolk.
Refrigerate the dough for about half an hour before you arrange it in a tart pan.
Bake for about fifteen minutes till the crust turns golden brown and let it cool.
In the meanwhile, make the lemon fillings by whisking eggs, lemon juice, sugar, cornstarch, butter, and salt.
Pour the cooled lemon filling into the tart crust you just baked.
Refrigerate the tart for at least three hours so that it sets.
Garnish with whipped cream and serve.
