Vietnamese coffee is legendary for its intense, dark, and sweet profile. By using a traditional phin filter or a strong French press brew, you create a concentrated coffee that pairs perfectly with the thick, velvety sweetness of condensed milk. This is not just a drink; it is a slow-sipping ritual that turns your mid-afternoon caffeine break into a decadent, cooling experience.
3 tbsp dark roast ground coffee 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup hot water 1 cup ice cubes
Place the coffee grounds into your filter or press and pour the hot water over them, allowing the coffee to drip or steep for 5 minutes into a glass containing the condensed milk.
Stir the hot coffee and condensed milk together until perfectly smooth and creamy.
Fill a separate tall glass to the top with ice cubes.
Pour the coffee mixture over the ice, let it sit for a minute to chill, and stir once more before drinking.
