Kimchi fried is a South Korean dish that's simple to prepare. It's a dish popular among young people who don't have a lot of time on their hands to prepare elaborate meals. Here is the recipe!
3 cups of steamed rice 1 cup of well-aged chopped kimchi ¼ cup kimchi juice ¼ cup water 2-3 tbsps gochujang 3 tbsp sesame oil 1 tsp cooking oil 1 green onion, chopped 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds 1 sheet of roasted and shredded seaweed strips
Heat a pan, skillet or wok. Add cooking oil. Add kimchi and stir-fry for a minute.
Add rice, kimchi juice and gochujang. Add water and stir everything for 10 minutes.
Add sesame oil and stir. Remove from heat.
Garnish with green onions, roasted sesame seeds and crushed seaweed strips.
Serve. You can also add meat if you want. You could give this dish an Indian twist by adding your favourite Indian spices.
