A persimmon mousse is one of the easiest desserts you can prepare, relying on the natural sweetness and creamy texture of ripe persimmons. When blended smoothly, the fruit develops a custard-like consistency without the need for sugar or whipping agents. It chills into a soft, silky dessert that tastes fresh and effortless.
2 ripe persimmons ½ cup chilled cream or Greek yoghurt
Scoop the soft pulp out of ripe persimmons and add it to a blender.
Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
Fold in chilled cream or whisked Greek yoghurt until well combined.
Chill for 1–2 hours before serving for the best texture.
