Try This Spicy Oyster Mushroom Stir-Fry For A Quick Meal

Because of their meaty texture and neutral flavour, oyster mushrooms are a spore-tacular addition to vegetarian and vegan kitchens. Of course, this pairs well with any type of food that you want, but the best pairing is fried rice or noodles of your choice.

Ingredients

500 grams of oyster mushrooms 2 spoons of oyster mushrooms 1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce A few gingers, shredded ½ teaspoon of red chilli powder 2-4 green chillis, chopped 4 onions, chopped 2 tablespoons of cooking oil ⅓ teaspoon of black pepper corns Coriander stems, for garnish

Step 1

Remove the ends of the oyster mushrooms. Wash them thoroughly. Let it dry.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. And the ginger and onions, and chopped chillis. Sauté for a few seconds.

Step 3

Place the mushrooms in the pan. Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir once or twice. Add the red chilli powder. Let it cook.

Step 4

Once the mushrooms are darker, remove from the heat.

Step 5

Add in the black pepper corns. Add in the coriander stems. Give it a few stirs. Serve!
