Summers are here, which means mangoes are ruling every drink, dessert and dish. This week, try this delicious mango falooda ice cream to beat the heat!
4 tsp of basil seeds 4 cups water 1 cup of falooda sev or vermicelli, cooked 3 cups of full cream milk, chilled 2 tsp sugar 8 tbsps of mango pieces 4 tbsp rose syrup 8 tbsp mango jelly, optional 1 cup mango pulp 4 scoops of mango ice cream 4 tsps of chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios 6 tsps of tutti frutti
Boil a cup of water. Add falooda sev. Switch off the flame.
In a small cup, add the basil seeds. Add water and let it soak for 30 minutes.
Next, in a tall glass, add 2 tablespoons of basil seeds. Add the cooked falooda sev. Add the chopped mango pieces.
Add the rose syrup next. Then add the cubed mango jelly, if you want. Add the mango pulp or puree.
Pour in chilled milk. Slowly add a scoop of mango ice cream on top. Garnish with chopped nuts and tutti frutti. Serve!
