Paneer tikka salad combines grilled paneer cubes with fresh vegetables to create a protein-rich and relatively low-carb meal. Paneer provides complete dairy protein and calcium, supporting muscle recovery after exercise. Fresh vegetables add fibre and antioxidants, keeping the meal balanced and light. The smoky marinade adds depth without relying on heavy dressings.
200 g paneer cubes ½ cup thick yogurt 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric 1 tsp garam masala 1 tbsp lemon juice Salt to taste 1 cup lettuce ½ cup cucumber slices ½ cup cherry tomatoes 1 tbsp olive oil
Marinate paneer in yogurt, spices, lemon juice and salt for at least thirty minutes.
Grill or pan-sear paneer with a little oil until lightly charred on edges.
Toss lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes in a large bowl.
Top with warm paneer and serve immediately.
