Ragi roti is a wholesome flatbread made from finger millet flour eaten as a popular breakfast in the state of Karnataka. It’s rich in fibre, easy to digest and ideal for light meals when paired with chutney, curd or sabzi.
1 cup ragi flour ¼ cup chopped onions 2 tbsp grated carrot 1 tbsp green chillies 2 tbsp coriander Salt, to taste Warm water, as needed Ghee/oil, as required
Mix the ragi flour, onions, carrot, chillies, coriander, and salt.
Add warm water gradually to form a soft dough.
Pat a small portion of dough onto a greased sheet of plastic or butter paper.
Transfer to tawa and cook with little oil or ghee.
Flip until both sides are crisp and cooked before serving hot.
