Mango shrikhand is a popular, luxurious Indian dessert made with yoghurt, mango pulp and sugar. It is a popular Gujarati and Maharashtrian sweet dish which is smooth, creamy and refreshing.
2 cups thick curd 1 cup mango pulp 3-4 tbsp powdered sugar 1/4 tsp cardamom powder A pinch of saffron strands Chopped nuts for garnish Fresh mango slices for decoration
Hang yoghurt in a muslin cloth for 4-5 hours to get thick curd.
Mix the hung curd with mango pulp, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and then add saffron.
Transfer the mango shrikhand to a serving bowl, then refrigerate it for 1-2 hours.
Garnish with chopped nuts and fresh mango slices.
Serve it chilled!
