Coconut laddu is a melt-in-the-mouth traditional Indian sweet that can be quickly whipped up with basic pantry staples. Garnished with nuts, you can enjoy coconut laddus as a post-meal treat.
2 cups grated coconut 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup milk 2 tbsp ghee 1/4 tsp cardamom powder Cashews or pistachios for garnish
Take a pan and simmer milk and sugar till it dissolves.
Increase the heat and add grated coconut. Keep stirring till the mixture thickens.
Add in cardamom powder. Reduce the heat and let the mixture get to a dough-like consistency.
Once ready, shape the mixture into laddus. Garnish with nuts and serve.
