Traditional Chicken Kofta Curry To Try For Lunch

Chicken kofta curry is a flavourful dish made with spicy koftas simmered in a rich and aromatic curry. The dish is traditionally served with rice, naan and roti, and is a perfect comfort food with a touch of elegance.

Ingredients

For Koftas: 500 g minced chicken 2 tbsp bread crumbs 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric ½ tsp garam masala 2 tbsp coriander leaves Salt to taste For Curry: 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 chopped onion 2 pureed tomatoes 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric ½ tsp garam masala 1 cup water Salt to taste

Step 1

Mix kofta ingredients, shape into balls and fry or bake.

Step 2

Saute onions, ginger-garlic paste in oil, add tomato puree, spices and cook.

Step 3

Add water, simmer, then add koftas and cook for 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Finish with garam masala and serve with naan or rice.
