Tomato-onion chutney is a delightful pairing with snacks, namkeen paratha, sandwiches, fritters, and even steamed rice. Tanginess from tomatoes and subtle sweetness from onions make it a drool-worthy addition to the table. Here is how you can make it at home.
2 onions 2 tomatoes ½-inch ginger 2 green chillies 20-30g coriander leaves Salt to taste 1 dry red chilli
Peel the onions and roughly dice them into four parts.
Cut the heads of tomatoes and dice them into four parts too.
Peel the ginger and add it to a food processor along with tomatoes and onions.
Wash the coriander leaves and add them to the jar with red and green chillies.
Blitz the ingredients into a coarse blend and pour it into a jar.
Adjust the salt and enjoy it with your favourite crunchy snacks.
