When life gives you lemons, well, you store them properly and increase their shelf life. If you spot lemons going bad quickly, follow these hacks to store them better and keep them fresh for a longer time.
Store whole and unwashed lemons in your fridge to keep them fresh for 2-3 weeks.
Keep the lemons in airtight containers to prevent any moisture loss, keeping them firm.
To increase the shelf life up to a month, submerge the lemons in a bowl of water and then refrigerate.
If you want to store a cut lemon, you can spread the slices in a ziplock bag and deep freeze.
Another way to preserve lemons is to juice them and store the lemon juice in the freezer.
