Monsoons bring relief from the summer heat but also cause a high risk of food poisoning because of humidity and bacteria. Here are 6 tips to prevent getting food poisoning in monsoon:
Wash your hands properly with soap and water before and after consuming food.
Rise them through running water, use salt and vinegar solution as disinfectant while washing.
Make sure to cook the food properly, especially chicken and meat. Cooking them to the desired heat kills bacteria.
Keep food refrigerated at the right temperature, use airtight containers and do not keep it for more than 2 days.
Everyone loves street food, but it cannot be trusted for hygiene, so they consume homemade food during the monsoon season.
Try to drink boiled and filtered water during monsoon to avoid the consumption of waterborne diseases.
