Tilgul, made with sesame seeds and jaggery, is one of the most popular winter delights that is served at harvest festivals. Known by different names across the country, here’s how you can make tilgul at home.
1 cup til 1/2 cup gur 1/4 cup roasted peanuts 1/4 cup chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins) 1 tablespoon ghee Pinch of cardamom powder
Heat some ghee and dry roast til till they are golden brown.
In a separate kadhai, melt gur. Then add roasted til, peanuts, and chopped nuts.
Once mixed, add some ghee and cardamom powder.
Let the mixture cool and shape it into ladoos.
Serve and store the rest in an airtight container.
