Tilgul Ladoo: Winter Special Punjabi Recipe For Your Sweet Tooth

Tilgul ladoo, made with til (sesame seeds) and gur (jaggery), is one of the most popular winter delights that is usually served at harvest festivals. To try it at home, follow this Punjabi recipe.

Ingredients

1 cup til 1/2 cup gur 1/4 cup roasted peanuts 1/4 cup chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins) 1 tablespoon ghee Pinch of cardamom powder

Step 1

Heat some ghee and dry roast til till they are golden brown.

Step 2

In a separate kadhai, melt gur. Then add roasted til, peanuts, and chopped nuts.

Step 3

Once mixed, add some ghee and cardamom powder.

Step 4

Let the mixture cool and shape them into ladoos and dig in!
