This Holi, Prepare Kesari Thandai For Refreshing Indulgence

Kesari thandai is a refreshing aromatic beverage relished around Holi.  It is nutritious as the blend is prepared using almonds, cashews, and more. This year, you cannot miss this drink, especially if you have friends and family coming over.

Ingredients

¼ tsp thandai powder 1 litre milk 2 tbsp sugar 12-15 saffron strands

Step 1

Add milk to a heavy-bottom pan and stir it in between before it comes to a boil.

Step 2

When milk is warm, take out 2-3 tablespoons in a bowl and soak saffron strands in it.

Step 3

Once the milk comes to a boil, lower the flame and add thandai mixture and sugar in it.

Step 4

Let the sugar dissolve completely and allow the thandai to sit for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5

Add saffron-soaked milk to thandai. Refrigerate it.

Step 6

Garnish the beverage with rose petals and saffron strands.
