Tiramisu crepe is a mouth-watering twist on the classic Italian dessert. To make the cafe-style airy dessert at home, you can follow this easy recipe and serve coffee-flavoured indulgence on a plate.
For the Crepes: Maida - 2 cups Powdered sugar - 3 tablespoons Eggs - 4 Milk - 1.5 cups Water - 1/4 cup Butter - 3 tablespoons Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons For the Tiramisu Filling: Expresso powder - 2 teaspoons Hot water - 2 tablespoons Heavy cream - 1.5 cups Mascarpone cheese - 1 cup Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon Cocoa powder for dusting
Mix the dry ingredients like maida, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Add eggs, milk, water, butter, and vanilla extract, and mix till smooth. Let the batter rest for half an hour.
In a separate bowl, mix expresso powder with hot water and let it cool.
Whip the heavy cream till it is stiff and fold in the expresso mixture, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
Pour 1/4 cup of the batter you just made into a non-stick pan and make a well-cooked crepe. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
Fill the crepe with the Tiramise filling you prepared and dust it with some cocoa powder.
Refrigerate the crepes for about two hours and serve it chilled with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
