Sometimes when you combine two dishes together, you get a masterpiece! That’s exactly how this aloo frankie taco recipe tastes! Wrapped in a spicy and tangy potato filling, this will be a hit with friends and family!
4-5 potatoes, boiled 2 tbsp ketchup 1 tbsp green chilli sauce 1 tbsp mayo Salt and pepper, to taste 2 tsp red chilli powder 2 tsp chaat masala ½ tsp mango powder ½ tsp cumin powder Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 1 chopped tomato 1 chopped onion ½ lemon juice Grated cheese, as needed Green chutney, as needed Wheat or corn tortillas, as needed
In a bowl, add the boiled potatoes. Mash it halfway. Add in ketchup, green chilli sauce, mayo, and red chilli powder.
Add cumin powder, mango powder, chaat masala, salt and pepper. Mix it until the potatoes are chunkily mashed and coated.
Heat a pan with oil. Place the filling on one side of the tortilla. Press down to make it stick.
Toast the tortilla until it is golden brown and crispy. Add some butter if needed.
Grate some cheese over it. In a bowl, mix tomatoes, green chilli, red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala and lemon juice.
Top the salad on the tacos. Serve!
