This gorgeous affogato recipe will quickly replace your standard iced coffee as your favourite summertime treat. Honey is beaten until thick and pale and then poured over.
½ cup honey ½ cup of instant coffee 50ml of hot water Vanilla ice cream, as needed Dark chocolate shavings
Fill a large mixing bowl with the runny honey. Beat with an electric whisk until thickened, pale, and airy.
Boil water. Add coffee to a small mixing bowl. Pour the water over it. Let the coffee dissolve.
After adding the coffee mixture to the beaten honey. Whisk for 5-10 mins or until the mixture is thick, glossy, and mousse-like.
Spoon vanilla ice cream into bowls or serving glasses that have been chilled.
Over the ice cream, generously spoon the whipped honey coffee.
If desired, garnish with shavings of dark chocolate. Serve right away.
