The weekend is about to kick in and all you want to do is eat your favourite food and spend some “me time”. Broccoli chips can be one way to start the weekend on a healthy note; plus, the crunch is worth it!
2 cups broccoli leaves 1 tsp olive oil 1 pinch of sea salt 1 pinch brown sugar 1 pinch wasabi powder
Wash broccoli leaves thoroughly and pat them dry. Once dry, tear them into bite-sized pieces.
Drizzle with olive oil and toss the leaves until fully coated.
Mix the sea salt, brown sugar and wasabi powder in a small bowl. Sprinkle it over broccoli leaves.
Spread leaves in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 150C for 12-15 minutes.
Bake until crisp and golden brown. Allow to cool for a few seconds. Enjoy broccoli chips!
