A simple but refreshing beverage—like the cold brew spiked with diet cola for a bittersweet blend that is caffeine-forward. Jazz it up with any seasonal citrus of choice by infusing the coffee and enjoying this drink poured over ice.
½ cup water 6 tablespoons ground coffee 1 can diet cola, for topping up Orange slices, optional
Add the ground coffee and water to a jar before mixing well to blend.
If using orange slices, add a handful and let the container sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours, sealed with a lid.
Shake well before straining through a muslin cloth and squeezing the excessive liquid into a bowl.
Pour the mixture over ice cubes in a tall glass before topping up with diet cola. Serve chilled.
