As the chills hit you, brew a steaming pot of ginger tea for you, your friends and your family. But add a little twist to the recipe with some cinnamon, and you’ve got yourself a perfect cup of cinnamon ginger tea that boosts your immunity. It’s high in antioxidants, anti-viral and antibacterial, which could help clear infections from your chest and stomach.
1 teaspoon of grated ginger 2 cinnamon sticks 2 cups of water 1 star anise 2-3 cardamom pods 2-3 cloves Tea leaves as required Honey as required Lemon juice as required
Boil water in a saucepan and add the grated ginger. Add tea leaves.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes to extract flavours.
Add in the cinnamon sticks as well. Let it extract flavours.
Strain the tea into a cup. Add honey and lemon juice as required.
Enjoy cinnamon ginger tea hot. Sip the concoction every morning to reap all the benefits.
