Extra-crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a sticky-sweet Korean glaze, this fried chicken is all about crunch, heat, and addictive flavour. Try this recipe to make a Korean appetiser.
500 g bite-sized chicken pieces 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ cup cornflour 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper Oil for frying For Sauce 2 tbsp gochujang 2 tbsp honey 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tsp sesame oil 2 cloves minced garlic
Mix flour, cornflour, salt, and pepper, then coat the chicken evenly.
Fry the chicken twice, until it gets extra crispy and golden.
Heat the sauce ingredients in a pan until they get sticky and glossy.
Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
Garnish the crispy Korean chicken with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
