Who does not like sweet Punjabi lassi that satisfies hunger and leaves behind a white moustache? This curd-based beverage not only tastes delicious but also offers health benefits. Here is how you can make it at home.
1 cup milk 2 cups curd 4-5 tbsp sugar 6-8 ice cubes 2 tbsp chopped nuts 10-12 saffron strands 1 tsp cardamom powder
Crush cardamom in a mortar and pestle.
Take the child's curd in a bowl and churn it smooth.
Add sugar and milk and stir until the sugar dissolves.
You can also add these ingredients into a blender and turn everything into a smooth and thick concoction.
Add saffron strands and cardamom powder.
Enjoy the lassi with paratha or sandwiches.
