After a day-long fast, dessert needs to feel comforting and not too sugary. These sweet Iftar dishes are lightly sweet, have a balanced flavour, and feel light on the stomach. They are perfect for satisfying sweet cravings without leaving you feeling heavy.
Made with blended dates, warm milk, and crushed nuts, this pudding is rich yet light. It has natural sweetness from dates that keeps you nourishing and it also feels gentle after fasting.
Add the seasonal fruits into lightly sweetened custard to make a refreshing Iftar dessert. It is creamy, keeps the body cool, and is easy to digest.
This halwa is prepared using very little sugar and aromatic rose water for the flavour. It is soft, fragrant, and comforting in each bite, giving sweetness without being too heavy.
To make, apples are baked until they turn soft, then lightly drizzled with honey and cinnamon, making a warm, naturally sweet dessert.
