Rosey, cooling, and instantly nostalgic, Rooh Afza sharbat tastes best when served extra cold with basil seeds and ice. It is one of the quickest Indian summer coolers that still feels festive and refreshing.
3 tbsp Rooh Afza 2 cups chilled water 1 tsp soaked basil seeds Ice cubes as needed Mint leaves for garnish Lemon slices optional
Pour chilled water into a large jug and add Rooh Afza syrup directly into it.
Mix thoroughly with a spoon until the syrup dissolves evenly and the colour becomes uniform.
Add soaked basil seeds and stir gently so they spread properly through the drink.
Fill serving glasses with plenty of ice cubes and pour the prepared sharbat over them.
Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if using, then serve immediately while cold
