With the scorching heat of summer, you’ll need a chilled dessert plate to keep you refreshed. To quickly please your sweet tooth, make a serving of custard, chill it, add your choice of fruits, and enjoy.
1 litre milk 4 tablespoons custard powder 4-6 tablespoons sugar A pinch of cardamom powder 1 apple 1 banana 1 cup grapes 1 pomegranate 1 mango Any other seasonal fruits as preferred
Dissolve the custard powder in about 1/4 cup chilled milk. Make a lump-free paste.
Boil the remaining milk. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir till sugar dissolves.
Reduce the heat and pour the custard powder mixture into the hot milk.
Keep stirring till you get a thickened and uniform consistency. Let it cool.
Chop all the fruits and mix well. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours and dig in.
