Summertime isn't complete without a frosty, fruity, or herb-flavoured beverage. Enjoy the seasonal fruits in all their glory with a refreshing cocktail made with watermelon, mangoes, mint, basil, or even plums and apricots.

Watermelon Daiquiri

You may make your own fresh watermelon juice to add a burst of refreshing melon taste to this blend-and-sip drink, but any high-quality store-bought juice will also do. You may prepare as many as eight of these margarita-inspired rum drinks as you like, thanks to the salted rim that cuts through the sweetness of agave syrup and the sourness of lime juice.

Tom Collins

Simple to make, the Tom Collins is a Gin Fizz or Gin Sling clone that calls for only four ingredients: gin, carbonated water, lemon juice (freshly squeezed), sugar, and a pinch of salt. Hydrating and invigorating, it has a pleasant effervescent aftertaste and a well-balanced sweet and sour taste.

Cucumber-Rose Gin Spritz

A refreshing take on a traditional cocktail is achieved by combining gin, lemon, and club soda with cucumber, basil, and syrup steeped with cardamom. In addition to their aesthetic value, dried rose petals impart a delicate flowery flavour.

Strawberry-Rum Coolers

The recipe calls for ripe strawberries that have been simmered with ginger, lime, and agave until soft and aromatic. Then, the mixture is mixed with white and black rum, and a ginger beer float is added for garnish.

Easy Piña Colada

The creamy texture and richness of coconut milk complement the sweet-tart bits of frozen pineapple in this lighter version of traditional piña coladas made with white and black rum. To ensure that the coconut cream and liquids are thoroughly mixed, give the can of coconut milk a good shake before opening.

Apricot Nectarine Julep

The perfect drink for summer, this one features toasted apricots and citrus fruits puree that complements the vanilla and nutmeg tones in the bourbon. An almost Hawaiian shave ice-like drink may be made by pouring part of the saved puree over the crushed ice. Stone fruits like plums and sour cherries can also be cooked using the roast-and-puree method.
