Bottle gourd and amla come together in this refreshing morning drink that feels light, cooling, and naturally energising. The mild sweetness of lauki balances the sharp tang of amla, making it easier to enjoy daily during hot summer mornings.
1 cup chopped lauki 2 chopped amla ½ inch ginger ½ cup water ½ tsp black salt ½ tsp lemon juice
Peel and chop the lauki into small cubes and remove seeds if needed
Add lauki, amla, ginger, and water to a blender and blend until smooth
Strain the juice through a sieve for a smoother texture if preferred
Mix in black salt and lemon juice for extra flavour
Serve the juice immediately while chilled
