Sugarless Khajur Ladoo Recipe For Healthy Indulgence

Dates are naturally sweet. People trying to cut processed sugar in their diet often indulge in these. One of the easiest ways to incorporate dates into your diet is by preparing ladoos. Here is a quick recipe to try at home.

Ingredients

1/2 kg dates 1.5 cup black til 4 tbsp ghee ¼ cup cashews, almonds ¼ cup pistachio, walnuts ½ cup dry coconut, jaggery 2 tbsp poppy seeds 2 tbsp watermelon seeds ½ tsp cardamom, dry ginger

Step 1

Dry roast sesame seeds in a saucepan and keep them aside. Grind them into a coarse powder.

Step 2

Add ghee in the same saucepan and cook cashews, pistachios, walnuts, and almonds. Keep them aside.

Step 3

Pound the dry fruits in a mortar and pestle. Meanwhile, roast seeds and dry coconut in the pan.

Step 4

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl while you cook seedless khajur in the pan along with ghee.

Step 5

Mix all the ingredients along with cardamom powder, jaggery powder, and dry ginger powder. 

Step 6

Make bite-sized ladoos and enjoy. You can have them in the morning with a hot beverage.
