Struffoli are tiny honey-soaked dough balls traditionally prepared in Italian homes during Christmas. Light, crisp and glossy, they are shaped into wreaths or festive mounds and decorated with colourful sprinkles. Ingredients

2 cups flour 2 eggs 2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp butter Honey for coating Sprinkles

Step 1

Mix flour, eggs, sugar and softened butter into a smooth dough and let it rest.

Step 2

Roll the dough into thin ropes, cut into tiny pieces and shape into small balls.

Step 3

Fry until golden and drain thoroughly.

Step 4
