This veg momos recipe is a popular street-style steamed momos dish filled with fresh vegetables. These homemade momos are light, juicy, and flavourful, making them perfect as an evening snack or party appetiser.
For Dough 1½ cups all-purpose flour ¼ tsp salt Water (as required) For Filling 1 cup finely chopped cabbage ½ cup grated carrot ¼ cup chopped spring onions 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp oil Salt and pepper to taste
Knead flour, salt, and water into a firm dough and rest it for 20 minutes.
Mix cabbage, carrot, spring onions, soy sauce, oil, salt, and pepper to prepare the filling.
Roll the dough into thin discs and place a spoonful of filling in the centre.
Pleat and seal the edges carefully to shape the momos.
Steam for 10-12 minutes until the wrappers turn glossy and slightly translucent.
