Mumbai-style tawa pulao is bold, buttery, and packed with vegetables and pav-bhaji masala. It’s quick, comforting, and full of nostalgic street-style flavour.
2 cups cooked rice 1 onion (chopped) 1 tomato (chopped) ½ cup mixed vegetables (boiled) 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala 1 tbsp butter Salt and lemon juice to taste
Heat butter in a pan, add onion and sauté until soft, then stir in tomatoes.
Add pav bhaji masala, salt, and the mixed vegetables, cooking until fragrant.
Add cooked rice and toss everything well on high heat.
Finish with lemon juice and serve hot with sliced onions.
