Street-Style Roasted Chana Chaat For Snacking With Evening Tea

Do you need something for munching? Try this street-style roasted healthy chana chaat, a tasty and tangy snack which is high in protein and fibre. It is a perfect Indian street food that can be customised by adding any vegetable of your choice

Ingredients

1 cup - roasted chana 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato 1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds (optional) For Flavour: 1 tsp chaat masala 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp black salt 1 tsp lemon juice For Garnish: 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp sev (optional, for crunch)

Step 1

In a bowl, mix roasted chana, onion, tomato, cucumber, and pomegranate seeds.

Step 2

Sprinkle chaat masala, cumin powder, red chilli powder, black salt and mix it well.

Step 3

Drizzle lemon juice over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.

Step 4

Garnish with coriander leaves and sev.

Step 5

Serve immediately as a healthy and tasty snack.
