Street Style Baingan Pakore Perfect For A Quick Evening Snack

If you’re missing eating street snacks while roaming around the market due to the extreme cold, you can make the munchies at home. Follow this recipe and make baingan pakore and pair them with your chai.

Ingredients

2 eggplants 1 cup besan ½ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon cumin powder ½ teaspoon coriander powder A pinch of hing 1 tablespoon chopped curry leaves Salt to taste Oil for frying

Step 1

Slice the eggplants into circular disks. Set aside.

Step 2

Mix besan, curry leaves, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, hing, salt, and water.

Step 3

Heat some oil. Coat the baingan slices in the besan batter.

Step 4

Deep fry the slices till crispy and drain excess oil.

Step 5

Pair with chutney and serve hot with a cup of tea.
